Simple Pump Inline Manual–Solar Well Pump System

Zero-switch solar submersible + manual backup pump from one well.

Solar Powered
Simple Pump Components Made in U.S.A.

The Simple Pump Inline Manual–Solar Well Pump System is the only solar well pump system with true zero-switch operation.

The WORKHORSE Narrow Series solar submersible and the Simple Pump hand pump share the same well column through the proprietary Simple Pump Inline Dual-Pump Valve Assembly. No manual valve switching. No plumbing changes. Ever.

Solar panels power the WORKHORSE submersible for automated daily water delivery. When you reach for the Simple Pump lever arm, the valve shifts automatically, giving you immediate manual backup water.

Two fully independent water sources. One well. Zero switches. Water security without compromise.

Available through Simple Pump dealers and WORKHORSE Certified Installers.

True Water Independence or Just Another Dependency?

Conventional well pumps stop working when you need them most

Electricity Dependent Water

When your conventional well pump motor stops, your water stops

Single Point of Failure

Conventional well pumps leave you stranded during any power condition

Emergency Preparedness Gap

When disaster strikes, you need water access regardless of power status

Don't Wait for Emergency to Strike

The best time to install a backup water system is before you need it. When the power goes out, it's too late to wish you had prepared.

Two Pumping Methods. One Well.

The WORKHORSE solar submersible pump handles your daily water automatically. The Simple Pump hand pump is always ready as backup — no batteries, no switching, no compromise. Available through authorized dealers.

Solar-automated daily pumping

WORKHORSE submersible runs 5–10 hours/day on solar power. No batteries required — direct solar operation. Can also be run off a generator, 110V grid power, or battery bank.

Manual backup always ready

Simple Pump lever arm works independently at any time — even while solar is running. No batteries, no power required.

Zero switching. Ever.

The Simple Pump Inline Dual-Pump Valve Assembly automatically isolates each pump. When solar runs, the valve closes. When you pump manually, it opens instantly. No manual valve. No plumbing changes. No switching — ever.

WORKHORSE Certifications: CE (all models), TUV (W3H-6-500)

WORKHORSE W3H-6-500 (3"): CE and TUV certified. WORKHORSE W2H-5-200 (2"): CE certified. Both models meet NRCS requirements.

No-programming PSC100 controller

Manual speed and timer dials — no app, no Wi-Fi, no programming. Low-water auto-shutoff included.

Inline Dual-Pump Valve Assembly: Manufactured by Simple Pump

The valve assembly connecting the two systems is Simple Pump's own proprietary product. 15-year warranty.

How the Combined System Works

One well, one inline system — automated solar and always-ready manual backup, working together.

Simple Pump Inline Manual–Solar Well Pump System — system diagram showing zero-switch operation, solar-powered daily water, manual backup, and inline dual-pump assembly
01

WORKHORSE Solar Submersible Pump

Sits at the base of the assembly. Powered by solar panels on the surface. Runs 5–10 hours/day automatically. Pushes water up through the Simple Pump Inline Dual-Pump Valve Assembly.

02

Simple Pump Inline Dual-Pump Valve Assembly

Manufactured by Simple Pump. Connects the WORKHORSE pump to the Simple Pump cylinder via NPT threads. Closes under pressure (solar pumping). Opens under vacuum (hand pumping). The two systems share the water column without interference.

03

Spring Check Valve

Positioned above the Simple Pump Inline Dual-Pump Valve Assembly. Prevents water backflow when switching between modes.

04

Simple Pump Cylinder + Drop Pipes

Standard Simple Pump cylinder operates via the lever arm. Same 325 ft max static water level as a standalone Simple Pump — the solar submersible does not reduce manual capability.

05

Simple Pump Pump Head with Lever Arm

Sits on top of the well head. Use the lever arm to get water manually any time the solar pump isn't running.

Dealer Installation Required

Available through Simple Pump dealers and WORKHORSE Certified Installers. Your dealer will size the solar array and configure the PSC100 for your well.
