 In less than 5 minutes, convert your Simple Pump™ hand pump into a motorized pump. Our 1/5 HP gearmotor attachment quickly bolts on to operate reliably in any climate.
In addition to all of Simple Pump's™ design advantages, the gearmotor attachment is made with uncompromising efficiency and durability.
Gearmotor Features:
- The gearmotor operates on a 12-15 volt DC power source. The source can be any portable battery such as an automotive, deep cycle marine battery, an idling tractor or pickup truck.
- The mechanism is fully enclosed in stainless steel for ultimate outdoor protection.
- The motor is fuse-protected and has its own on/off switch for safety.
- The gearmotor is extremely efficient - can operate directly off a 120 watt solar panel with a linear current booster installed between the solar panel and 1/5 HP gearmotor.
- To make the mechanism extremely long-lasting, all moving parts in the gearmotor operate in roller bearings.
Optional Power Configurations:
- Add a 75 watt solar panel to the 1/5 HP gearmotor to produce about half the run time to charge time.
- Add a 25 watt solar panel to the 1/5 HP gearmotor to produce 1 hour of pump time to 6 hours of charge time.
- A basic deep cycle battery can run your Simple Pump™ under a full load for 4 hours at a time between charges.
- Solar panels, charge controllers, batteries, linear current boosters, and other solar components can also be used (not sold by Simple Pump™ Company).
