Easy to use

When pumping manually, the unique lever arm pump only takes 12 lbs. of force to pump 5 gallons per minute from 100 feet. (And half that with the 3ft arm!) It's so effortless, a child can do it — even from a deep well! Designed for kids and adults to safely grip the smooth lever arm handle.

It's so efficient, you can easily hand-pump into a pressurized system (house plumbing, irrigation or pressurized tank).

Easy to install

If you have a well with a pitless adaptor, you can install by yourself, or with just one helper. About two-thirds of our clients install their own pump. No winch/hoist or specialized tools needed, as with many hand pumps. Installs in as little as 2 hours the first time using common tools. Or you can, of course, have installation done by your local professional installer.
(If your submersible exits through the well cap, then the skills and tools of the professional installer are needed.)

And no cutting or gluing of PVC required.

Frost proof

The pump is self-priming, so water is always just a few pumps away. A weep hole allows the water to drop 4' (or more, if necessary in your area) to keep your water flowing in freeezing weather, and cool in the Summer.

Tamper-resistant

Lever arm removes quickly and easily from the pump when not in use. Security for when your away from your pump for extended periods... In just 5 minutes, you can remove the lever arm and related linkage, and then drop the pump head into "low mode". The pump then stands only 5" above the ground. Your manual water pump won't stand out from your landscaping or attract vandals.

What's more, the cost-savings goes beyond the initial set up. Simple Pump has an exceptionally long life because it is constructed from durable materials that resist the wear of daily use and because the fit of parts is so precise. Routine maintenance consists of replacing the seals in the pump cylinder and pump head. Replacement times found by most clients range between 3 and 10 years, at a cost of only $25. (Time will with amount of use and condition of the water.)
