The regular 24" handle is an excellent choice for most wells. The incredible pumping efficiency, given by many elements of the design plus the CNC-machining, means the Simple Pump is a very low effort pump. A child can literally pump the water quite easily, even from a fairly deep well.

But some readers may need to go deeper. Our new 36-inch handle will allow you pump more easily from as deep as 350 feet static water level, far beyond the capabilities of any of our competitors! (More info.)

The basic design is extraordinarily durable. As with the 24" lever arm, the new arm incorporates special graphite-impregnated bronze bushings at the three pump-head pivot points.
